Elmo is the kid who reaches for salad, who politely turns down fast food and earlier this year went to a birthday party and wasn't sure what a sheet cake was-and then told me a few days later that frosting freaks him out.
I made soap this past weekend. People get scared of making soap. Now, I am not messing with lye-that stuff is too legit for me. Lye can burn you, the water makes some bizarre fumes-no thank you. I have no desire to embalm myself by accident in my kitchen by inhaling Lye-but I happily found out I don't have to use lye to make goat's milk soap.
And so, in my own way, I have made changes the last month with Mr.'s support and wonderful menu planning. I go to a gym 5 days a week with a trainer to do cardio for 45 minutes. And on Saturdays my husband, with his background as a PE teacher-he charts bike rides for us and is teaching me how to use the heavy bag in the garage. Below is me-Me! Dependable me-doing this thing. Boxing? Me? The knitter? The lady who mentors people are work on how to be organized-look what I have become in my own way. Maybe greatness is in there, somewhere
